Graham S
On a car like that, check as must of the underneath as you can for rust dude... Especially round the bit under the radiator. Apart from being old people's cars they are super reliable and actually drive nice! And obviously on a car like that, check all the electric windows, sunroof, remote central locking and air con works! haha!

Jellybean
Over here need to get something 1000cc or less to make it worth my while, love these; they look awesome with the Mini Lites on. Would prefer toyota but Micra's are sensible $
Graham S
I totally agree, i'd have one for smoking backwards and forwards to work. As gay as they look they are an alright car.. Gotta be the most reliable car in the world! I reckon a matt black respray would top it off, and a big CB ariel on the roof!

Neil-NA
Quite funky little cars the K10. Here was my £150 shitter - Used it for 3 months and then got £250 for it. BTW yes that is the drivers seat all the way back, i was almost looking out the rear windows lol
Purity14
I had one of these years ago, the 1.2 versions arent as reliable as the 1.0s. A few people swap out the 1000cc 8v for the 1000cc 16v engine, coupled with primera 1.6 throttlebodies, injectors and 4-2-1 manifold they can go quite well, its just wiring thats the problem. If you use the 1.6 ga16 gearbox you can hit 60mph in second gear too Also consider the Micra Super Turbo, it falls under your CC bracket, but maybe not your ££ bracket. AndrewOW
I'm after a Micra 1L as a run about, but would prefer the next version to this one, although that blue looks pretty good.

Make sure you get one without a sunroof as the sills will be rotten on the inside. (and there is no way of checking until its too late) Crossmember under the radiator rots away lovely on the K11's not abig job to replace, more of a ballache and its an MOT failure. Check for cam chain rattle, as its £300 to fix/replace. Also, the throttle body tends to kill themselves, replacements are usually £150ish - it will feel like you are missfiring sometimes if you give it full beans. You wont run out of parts for these as the first version of the nissan cube also uses the cg1X engine. K11's can look just as good as K10's http://www.micra.org.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=17556&stc=1&d=1287236016

Purity14
Woohoo! Those arches are pretty rare, but if you know the right places you are good to go. Thats the mk1(prefacelift) K11 Super S (SR's and Super S' have electric windows as standard, and lower front fogs) If you want to make it handle well, you will need a full whiteline kit, with adjustable panhard rod lower it about 50mm~ on some coilovers and go get the Geo done. You will be suprised at how fun it can be http://rallynuts.com/motorsport/Nissan_Suspension_2056/
