What's everyone getting their other half for xmas?

Other half? Christ, after spending £1k on the kids (for which I blame the other half) she'll be lucky if I allow her to watch Xmas day with us.

On a serious note, we tend to spend large on each others birthdays but set a challenge on Xmas (making it more about the kids) of getting gifts for a small cash limit, £50 this year...

Sooooo, on that note..... HELP!!

She already wants "Sex and the city 2" so I need £40 of stocking fillers...

Give her £40 and tell her not to "spend it all at once" :D

Buy her chocolates, flowers and candles :)

Stick a sock in it to make it tighter and you could call it 'Imi'.

Just sayin....

:rlol:

I'd like IMI to stick a sock in it with his conspiricy theories

i'm assuming that you meant "conspiracy", if so what are you referring to?

:)

Thanks Imi. Depending on what answers I get to this next question I might take you up on it.

Can Vista 32bit SP1 utilise 4gb ram or is it a red herring? I remember reading that PC manufacturers were shipping with 3gb installed due to limitations but then MS did something with SP1 and it can now 'sort of' use up to 4gb.

Will buying 4gb be a waste of money if some of it still cannot be seen?

I'm guessing the people spending loads on their OH aren't married? My wife doesn't do presents, certainly expensive ones as its 'our' money anyway and if she wants something she buys it rather than wait once a year and hope I remember.

I suppose we should do the thoughtful thing like make stuff, I do vouchers occassionally for things like 'mucking out the horses' or 6 hours field maintenance but half the time I forget to reclaim the vouchers, and I'm sure she's photocopied them...
