a98pmalcolm
Hay all. Ok i have a problem. From time to time i get Blue Screens pop up and it restarted the computer. I dont always have enough time to read what the error message is as the comp reststarts. The last time it did with i did see "memory management" but the error messages can be different I have run memory tests and there is no errors. Its recently new 2 2GB sticks of DDR2 Corsair XMS2 1066 Also Corsair ram cooler RAM Fans to keep them cool. Also im on Windows 7 Proffesional 32 BIT Any help would be great. Many thanks The system is overclocked here are some screen shots http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/3152/20101202001c.jpg http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2977/20101202003.jpg http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/8562/20101202004.jpg
creative
have a look in the minidump and see if its placed a file in there. If it has, you could send it over and I will have a look at it for you if you wish using windows debug. you could also try bluescreen view and have a look yourself. shima60
I know this sounds stupid but have you tried the dram frequency & voltage etc. I know you have set it up but have you tried just taking it down a notch. Could the Dram not sit at 1066 instead of 1067 or did the motherboard not like that? little things first
DamanC
The blue screen could be attributed to anything. when you clocked your machine did you give it a run on memtest after and prime 95? how long did you run them for? Has it only started happening since the OC? It maybe something as simple as a program causing it. Get BSV on it and let us know what you find. TonytotheB
BSODs can be caused by anything. Have you installed drivers recently? Give us the full spec including PSU, gcard, HDD, cdroms drives etc

creative
have you tried taking out each stick of ram? Also try updating the GFX card drivers as these tend to cause a few issues. A quick google of the bug check code on the Ms site should give you the answers. edit... seems you have had a few BSOD's!

It doesn't seem like a meanstream brand? I googled and found this link. Not the first place to start anyway Try taking each RAM stick out and memtesting them separately. This should always be the first point of call. Prime95 will do the trick and show errors. It takes time but so to BSODs Is your mobo BIOS up to date? Check on the ASUS website. It allows you to select the mobo and then download the latest drivers http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us Soundcards are the next port of call. Is your SC driver up to date? Google that as Creative are not great with compatibility. I have had a few and had problems with some games etc Let us know
a98pmalcolm
The icute PSU has done me well for a year now. Its a maplins job but im impressed with it so far. Yes the bios is uptodate. I have a feeling it could be sumin to do with sound card drivers. As iv had a pop up before saying sound card driver not installed but it is. I reinstalled anyway. I could leave it one prime 95 while im at work 2moro. So i will do. I have cleared CMOS and running totaly standard settings to check if the possability of my overclock was unstable.
