RedM
Anyone tried getting on the wiki page, seems to be constantly down...... wonder why?????????????????? Free speech has a number: http://88.80.13.
Morpheus
Could the US be using Wikileaks as a way of forcing an end to net neutrality? Policing of the internet or censorship could be here soon. Indeed, Googlevideo and Youtube have been resetting viewing numbers on 9/11 type videos for years to keep them off the front page where they would otherwise be. Instead it's always X Factor or some other celebrity nonsense. Google own Youtube btw. http://www.creative-seo.co.uk/creative-seo-news/search_engine_news/google-owned-youtube-to-remove-music-videos-after-conflict-with-prs-in-the-uk.php
Kim1978
I read news but with a lot of skepticism, especially when I read corporate/Rupert Murdoch similar media for this very reason: That said I reckon 90% of it is disinformation As a Swede I can almost assure you this will lead nowhere. Swedish sex crimes laws are, because of excessive feminist influence, totally preposterous. The country has the 2nd highest rape conviction rate in the world after South Africa!!! Just a warning to you who plan to shag a Swedish woman, you can get convicted for rape even if she consent. Yes, you heard me right. All this will come to light during the Assange process. Chris Wilson
They say Vegetarians do it organically. So, how do Vegans do it? Im suprised that the second link in your signature doesnt link correctly. RedM has been training sharks to get their own back, it seems I am sure he linked to some shark de finning site a bit ago? RedM
Latest leak: US company pimps little boys to Afghan cops. http://blogs.houstonpress.com/hairballs/2010/12/wikileaks_texas_company_helped.php
Purity14
Latest leak: "bacha bazi is a pre-Islamic Afghan tradition that was banned by the Taliban. Bacha boys are eight- to 15-years-old. They put on make-up, tie bells to their feet and slip into scanty women's clothing, and then, to the whine of a harmonium and wailing vocals, they dance seductively to smoky roomfuls of leering older men. RedM
Not really funny though, is it? Seeing as you missed out the bit where the boys get 'bought' by the men and then abused.

No, it is not really funny - perhaps we should donate all we earn in an effort to stop such behaviour? I have no interest in whatever backwards behaviour they have out in their third world country, bring the troops back and ignore them and let them all murder each other imo. paulrenn
From the Swedish charges, sounds like more that just his wiki that leaked Actually I don't know where I stand on Assange, he probably deserves all he gets - he is certainly no saint - but then Americans are angry that people know the truth about their dealings with the world, they cannot deny that the leaks are the truth. It won't end well for either side.
AJI
The USA and media also seem to keep forgetting that Assange was not the person who leaked the information in the first place. Assange is in effect just a 'middle man'. (Is that not the case?)

Assange is in effect just a 'middle man'. (Is that not the case?) They need a single face in order to demonize - normally tend to go for a bearded man with a turban - atleast this time they have demonstrated some versatility.... Assange is in effect just a 'middle man'. (Is that not the case?) That puzzles me as well, he may be making it easier for the information to get out, but if all his activity was stopped tomrrow then something else would spring up. And how is it different from someone running to the press? Watergate for instance (tho I don't remember much about it).
Gaz6002
I thought Assange was editor-in-chief and spokesperson for Wikileaks? That does make him accountable for what gets released under the Wikileaks banner, if indeed there is anything to be held accountable for. Assange is in effect just a 'middle man'. (Is that not the case?) Do you know how many people had access to the information that was leaked? Two and a half million people! The governments of the world either need to tighten up their security or stop getting upset when its made public.
Multics
In my eyes he's a true journalist that has exposed the wrong-doings of governments instead of writing about the latest slapper or rapper... I can only praise him for that. What he published is already done and leaked by someone else. Governments are accountable for 4 years then it's someone else's problem... Independent media such as Wikileaks helps us keep an eye on the governments WE elect and sometimes that can only be achieved by exposure. I prefer to know rather than not to. Swampy442
In the papers this morning the US government are actively seeking to do Assange on espionage charges. Whether you believe the sex charge is a conspiracy or not, its clear proof the US want him.
