LOGIE Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 This is a very odd problem, I have a 1999 RAV4 and when my left indicator is on there is a beeping coming through my left speaker in the boot. Lee P Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 The buzzer is only surpossed to work when the tow bar is in use, by law it has to have a buzzer that sounds when the indicators are on. Its the buzzer for the towbar electrics, take out the panel and remove the buzzer as you dont need it. This will stop the noise, it sounds like there is a fault with the buzzer or a bad earth somewhere. Its wired from the tow bar socket to the indicators so you may have to rejoin the wires, all will become clear when you have a look. Hope this helps.
