dani_r
Morning! Anyone else freezing!? I had an issue yesterday with the Supe which resulted in being stuck at the side of the road, not amused! The car basically spluttered once then ground to a halt. We had a look around for any broken pipes/boost leaks etc but nothing. The car started ok then died: clearly a fuelling issue. I had a quick look on the forum yesterday and found a post saying to connect the +B to FP on the diag port in the engine to gain a constant 12v feed to the pump. Did that and hey-presto, she lives! Now my question is, what is my next step? Is it a new ECU all together? Or is there a seperate fuel pump ECU somewhere? Is there something else up? Any help is much appreciated Dan P.S she's an NA-TT 5Speed
Swampy442
Yes its freezing here too! The very fact you did the fuel pump ECU bypass means there is one but as for where is it Ive no idea... Its fine to run with the bridge in place, just dont touch the wire as it gets fookin hot but yes a new ECU is required, its up to you if you want to trust a second hand item

Graham S
If I remember correctly, in the boot, looking into the boot on the left hand side behind the panel with the light in. there is a box bolted to the side... Think thats the bit your looking for.

It isn't okay to run with the bridge in place... it is a diagnostic OUTPUT port... the diag wiring can not handle the fuel pump running and you risk toasting more in the loom. Yup, red box, just behind the panel, should be a 10mm nut also check the junction point behind the passenger side rear speaker, there is a multiplug that contains the fuel wiring amongst others, and this can jar loose.
