V160 Gearbox Help

I can see a potential issue there Ryan, in that the V160 uses a PULL clutch release, and the drawing almost certainly assumes a push type release. Not sure what you are trying to do here, but wouldn't you be better converting it to a concentric clutch release set up? I did this on my Skyline and have a very light pedal that's very easy to modulate, and no arms, pivots or external cylinders.

Stop teasing me with the Seq box :D

What i am trying to achieve Chris, is to get made up a flywheel which bolts to the toyota 1uzfe engine and then with the use of some adaptor plates i have from TTC Performance allows a standard supra clutch setup to be used. Making the engine conversion more simple for supra owners.

I have been really considering the the concentic route but unsure what clutch i could get to work with it. I take it a supra one wouldn't work any longer?

I wish there was a keyboard button that said "Make it Fit"

I think I saw (on v-eight.com or Lextreme, or both) that if the 1UZ crankcase to V160 adaptor was 3/4 inch(?) thick, then you would use a flywheel with the 2JZ-GTE dimensions, drilled for the 1UZ crank and the V160 pressure plate (or you could make the flywheel thinner and bolt the 1UZ flexplate betweeen flywheel and crank to avoid fitting a ring gear to the flywheel).

You are correct and the TTC adaptor is exactly that size but i would never want to drill a supra flywheel for the 1uz!

So getting a custom one made up which are not mega money

That's what I assumed. I know people do re-drill flywheels, but it never seemed like a good idea to me. :)

Could you give them a 1UZ-FE flexplate and a 2JZ-GTE flywheel as patterns?

Those 1UZ engines can give a fair bit of poke as an N/A, can't they?
