Is it wrong that I could happily put my double bed up there and live in that place lol There's something about working with wood *yeah I know how it sounds* that pleases me, Crafting something unique in a place with so much character.

Where's the workshop based?

Realised I havnt updated this thread, so thought I would post a few pics of the changes to the workshop end of last year.

We opened up the workshop to make room for a ramp and also took up the wooden floor

Not quite sure what James is upto here lol

Once the wooden floor was gone we already had some concrete down but had to dig down a bit further for the ramp, what a mess that was!!

We then prepped the floor ready for levelling

With the help of Jamie we levelled the floor with self levelling compound.

The two post ramp was then installed

We then painted the hole workshop and used 2 pack epoxy paint for the floor

Really pleased to see how things have grown over the last few years Lee. It's all down to your hard work and top quality service mate so keep it up!

And if you ever need a lodger for the workshop, give me a ring! :D

Haven't updated this for a while so thought I would post some pics up of this years upgrades.

We have now revamped the original single car workshop that I started in all those years ago.

As we now had the two ramps in the main workshop, this room was only getting used for storage.

As we have a lot of big projects on the go the main two ramps were being used for them which left us no space to do servicing or alignments.

What we wanted was to build a dedicated service and alignment bay for doing smaller jobs that would be available when we needed it.

We started by clearing the space

We then had to pull up all the old floor which was wood floor on top of a thin layer of concrete

The recess was then finished off with some steel plate edging which we painted red.

We covered around the edge of the recess with some black floor matting

Next step was to install the storage units and worktop

We went for a fitted setup rather than a toolbox to give it a nice clean look.

We also installed a flat screen TV which we use for the alignment. This can also display the camera feed from above so we can see when driving onto the ramp.
