I no these threads have been done over and over but....just bought some new wheels

ive got 10x18 offset 35 for the back and 9x18 offset 30 for the front and i looking at getting some decent tyres for the winter ive got toyo r888 285/30/18 for the rear when summer comes but need to get something for now and upcoming months.

if you could say where the best place to get them from to if not ill be using camskill

i want to keep under 500 for all 4 though

I am running on Vredestein Sessanta, very pleased with them.

295 and 255 x 35 for those size wheels.

I doubt very much that you'll get winter tyres for under £500 in 18's, from what i've seen camskill are the cheapest.

 

265 x 35 x 18 Vredestein winter tyres are £173 each

 

265 or 275 for a 10" rim

 

245 or 255 for the 9" fronts

 

245 x 40's are £150 each

the 255 should have a 40 profile to keep the rolling radius close to the rears, the sizes your using are 1" differant front to rear.

doesnt have to be a proper winter tyre im looking for a good all rounder realy good in dry summer and wet/cold winter

alot of people seem to like the falken 452 but whats that like this time of year.

and im not looking to go out in the snow.

just had a look at those you said dnk might go for them but what they like in the summer because ill want to keep them on and just use the toyo r888 rears for the track

If it's specifically winter tyres, you are after, you would be better off with a set of 16" or 17" wheels and narrower tyres, they would be cheaper too.

I've no idea if there any good in the summer or how good they are in the winter to be honest, my car gets put away usually and i use my 4x4

 

As said already a set of 17's or 16's (as long as you havent got uk spec calipers) with narrower width tyres would be much better in the snow and the winter tyres also would be cheaper 225 x 45 x 16 toyo winter tyre is £113

For the money unless your driving the car on limit everywhere then you wont go too far wrong with a set of Falken 452's
