Tyson
this kind of weather catches even the most experienced drivers out. Wish you a speedy recovery !! My supe was retired last Thursday and will be until the weather brightens up especially seen as I don't have a roll cage
dr_jekyll
atleast you got out mate, you can allways build another car. glad i have orderd a cage
Suprash
Gutted to see this mate, I cant remember if you had this car or not when I was at yours.......still, the Supes are very good cars for holding up on a roll, so with or without that cage people still tend to walk away from motorway spins/rolls. Did the cage bend at the weak point around the dash ?

monsween
Group buy on roll cages? Think this will open some peoples eyes, the last 2 have certainly opened mine. Cage is on the list now
Chris Wilson
Glad you are OK James. I see a trailer on the drive, is it proving more cost effective to have your own recovery equipment these days ? If people are going to buy cages then PLEASE don't get "dash dodger" ones, just look how the dog leg bend allows them to cripple under load and collapse. You need a through dash straight leg, with triangulation to stop the screen pillar collapsing, and you need welded in load spreading plates on the floor to stop the feet of bolted in cages punching through the thin floor pan or rear arches. You mean something like this? JAMES!! FFS buddy, really glad you are on the road to recovery, there ain't much hope for the rest of us if YOU are struggling to keep in on four wheels. I'm very sorry to see your pride and joy reduced to such a state but I have a feeling you won't be without for long. But the main thing is to get yourself back in shape and count your lucky stars while you have the time. I'll be in touch in the near future when you are feeling up to it regarding my own 1J swap if it's not too sore a topic.
