SupraMan Mk4
Hi Guys, Looking for confirmation that these bulbs are the correct ones to use on my car. Its Jspec - and from what I have read on the forum the bulbs listed below are required for both the high beams and low beams. Is that correct? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/55w-ICE-BLUE-XENON-HB3-9005-Headlight-Bulbs-12v-/300416108280?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45f23206f8 Thanks, Paul
Nic
Yes they are the correct ones for the high and low beam on J-spec headlights
SupraMan Mk4
Cheers Nic! Which is the 'bluest' you can get for this fitment. Is it the 7500k 9005 fitment?
Nic
The higher the Kelvin number the bluer the light will be, 6500K is white with a hint of blue similar to say a new Audi/BMW etc.
SupraP-Z
Depends on the manufacturer but generally 8000k/10000k is very blue...and for some reason appears to be brighter when it actually isnt.

I think they can fail the MOT as well if they are too blue.
SupraMan Mk4
I attempted to fit these today. The dipped beams went in ok......with a bit of persuasion. But for the life of me I cant get the full beam ones in. The plastic lock in parts around the edge are totally different and wont align. Any ideas how to get these in? Im definately upgrading to UK Glass in the new year now.
Shane
This thread explains all: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?142251-Which-headlight-bulbs-for-JSpec-and-UK-Spec&highlight=9005j I made the same mistake and ordered some place as you (before I read Pete's thread), and I checked with them first that they would deff fit J-spec. When I contacted them afterwards and said they should have sent 9006J for the dip they just gave me a full refund and I found someone else who sold the right ones. Those bulbs in the main beam do give good results though, I went for the higher wattage ones.
SupraMan Mk4
Hmmmm, seems a bit of DIY is in order then. Would I be right in assuming that these bulbs are a perfect fitment in the UK glass headlights tho?
