To clarify: the car shouldn't be written off if another party has been found liable/admitted liability and their insurer has agreed to settle the claim. For all other cases, your point stands. A group 9 saxo vtr being the same price as a Fiesta Have you had a look at the gps schemes some insurers are running. If your lads lifestyle meets the criteria then he could save a bit of cash.
