tbourner
Why do vids on youtube have adverts on them? I thought it was videos with lots of views making a % on the adverts for the video owner, but I have adverts on some of my videos and haven't been told about the millions of pounds I'm owed yet. What's it all about?
PJ
It's since YouTube was taken over by Google and it's bloody annoying. If you run Firefox then you can install a plug in that will block the ads.

tbourner
The only adverts on mine are ones ive said they can put on and i get payed for letting them. Well I remember getting an email from them saying my video was eligible for something but I didn't know what it meant, so now I've got the ads but I don't have an adsense account AFAIK unless I signed up for one of them at the time and forgot about it. I'm gonna have to fish through some old emails I think.
