Dnk
Leave it stock unless you like wasting money, get a tt or a single if you want turbo power.
ellis
Apply glue liberally to all outer surfaces of vehicle, warm car up then drive at speed through the front window of your local Halfords. Anything that sticks, keep, anything that doesn't really isn't worth bothering with.
Nic
well terminator i will become a member when i get paid, only asking for help, like whats the best back box, air filter, it is worth turboing it, obv your just grumpy old man If you want helpful and meaningful answers then put some thought and effort into your questions and provide information about your car. Despite being a 'grumpy old man' Terminator's one of the most helpful and experienced guys on the forum. Okay assuming you've just bought an NA Supra, this is what I would do: PERFORMANCE - If it's not had one for a while the first thing would be to give the car a full service - plugs, fluids, distributor cap, rotor arm, plug leads, oxygen sensors, filters, etc. it can make a noticeable difference performance wise if it's not been serviced for a while and will ensure it's running perfectly. BRAKING - If it has the smaller 2pot/1pot Supra brakes fitted, I would upgrade to the larger brakes 4pot/2pot Supra brakes (wheels allowing). Alternatively if you keep the smaller brakes I would fit a quality set of brake pads, braided stainless steel brake lines and decent fluid to get the best out of them. A brace for the brake master cylinder will also help firm up the pedal feel. HANDLING - A full geometry/alignment check would be next - this can make a massive difference to the handling of the car. I'd also get the garage to check the suspension bushes/joint for wear at the same time, if anything is worn replace with new OEM Toyota parts. I'd also make sure the car had good quality tyres fitted and all 4 wheels were balanced. All the above will optimise the performance, handling and braking of the car. Getting the car in tip top working order by doing all of the above would be my first priority before thinking of doing any modifications. Modification wise I would do the following: PERFORMANCE Fit a branded cat back exhaust designed for the 2JZ-GE Supra. Fit a 2nd decat pipe. Fit a Tubular exhaust manifold. Don't fit an aftermarket induction kit, the stock airbox is the best option. AESTHETICS Assuming it is an early pre facelift model (before 5/96), I would replace the headlights rear lights and indicators with the later facelift type and fit HID kit in the headlights. Lbm
Excellent post from Nic. Btw, if you find the opportunity to pay your membership, you will probably save hundreds, if not thousands of pounds, essentially due to free advice. People will guide you properly, if you approach them in the right manner.

There's a reason why we call him the Terminator, I can't say too much about his former alias as it is highly classified. For your own well being you may want to reconsider your comment, I'd suggest a groveling apology *may* appease the Terminator.

As has been pointed out, if you had included those questions perhaps you may have got a better initial response. Just posting "I need help" in technical is just asking for ridicule as it is not a proper question, it just shows total lack of thought. To me, it just said "I can't be arsed, I'll lob in a question and see what happens." By the way, there is a very good search facility in this forum.
