neo2810
Chaps, I'm looking for anyone who knows anyone who's been scammed by these cons. My mother in law has just come in telling us about how she's been promised £27k in payouts under the PPI scheme through this company wfac.com and then just drops in casually that she paid them £7k upfront on her card on a 'no win no fee' basis. After slapping her and doing some research, there are reams of horror stories online of folk not getting their cash back. There's a 14 day cancellation clause but they don't appear to be honouring it. I've got her speaking to her card company to see if she can get a chargeback but otherwise we are going to have to fight them. How many times I've told her not to sign up to any blaggers on net or phone and she just flits £7k away. Aaaarrrgghh. So, anyone had to deal with these guys?
