monsween
Easy as fook mate, give me a shout when your fitting it if you need a chat. I made my own brackets for mine as the ones supplied are useless if im honest, far too flimsy
marcAB10
Right I fitted my diffuser today, what a job all that drilling. Here are some pictures for those who wanted them, hope these give you a better idea what to expect when fitting yours. I just need to paint all the brackets and fixings black. Here is the bracket between the Anti Roll Bar mount and the rear of the diffuser... Same bracket but a view from underneath... NearSide 'spat part' fitted to the main diffuser panel.... Same part, different view showing the self tappers into the underside of the car... Same again different view... Bracket for the central part self tapped into the underside of the bumper aft of the fuel tank... Forward bracket off side attached to the anti roll bar mount... Finished, looks odd from that angle... The job itself is fairly straight forward you just need to be confident with the holes you have to drill. Also you will need more than just yourself to fit it. there you go

add heywood
I self tapped the diffuser to the rear bumper with 3 screws in the middle as I think the bracket for the central part looks naff, I think Jamie did the same with his (as Im sure I nicked the idea off him ). Mine wouldn't fit my back box so the dremel came out to chop a little bit from the diffuser under the exhaust.

hoff
I fitted mine as in Monsweens photos and also self tapped and bonded around the arches. The brakets are flimsy looking but I have had no issues with mine at all and have caught speed bumps etc. I had to modify mine a little and uses spacers. Easy done though. Some people have made up stronger brackets too.
monsween
i have a fibreglass version mate which i got off dave (fat arse). quick question- does the fuel tank metal cover need to come off? I'd advise painting it black with some hamerite tho. Your eyes are drawn to it if its grey Im a bit supprised at how these are attached to the car, looks pretty flimsey to me and im amazed the air flow under the car doesnt rip them off. Thats the very reason i beefed up my brackets. Held fine at 130-150 (on the track) EDIT: Mine required some cutting to get it to fit round the exhaust, it still touches but ive put some heat tape on the diffuser itself Edited November 26, 2010 by monsween (see edit history)

monsween
Honestly the brackets we got were far too flimsy, i just got some angle iron from B&Q and bent my own into shape. Worked a treat. Spray the brackets too!
