kieren1234
Hi all, its been a while. My 1994 j-spec n/a supra is due for its mot and i think i need some new wiper blades. Can anyone confirm that these will fit please: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-Supra-93-98-Windscreen-Flat-Wiper-Blades-Front-/250632782054?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a5ae0c0e6 It mentions something about the clip it uses and im not sure it will fit the stock supra wiper arms. Thanks.
AndrewOW
I can't see why they wouldn't fit, and if they are anything like the ones I have, then they are very good indeed.

Thanks mate, i have heard that they are very good so for that price, i might aswel give them a try and if they dont fit then just bin them. The listing does say it is for my car but i have bought items off ebay before and they definitely were not!
Elmo
I was looking at those eBay ones, but I've had simlar blades before and they haven't lasted very long, so a few weeks ago I bought a full set of these, I've been impressed with quality. http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/products/detail/wiper-blades-universal-retrofit-flat-aeroblade-21-inch-wb5-21-and-wiper-blades-universal-retrofit-flat-aeroblade-20-inch-wb5-20-twin-pack/
Nic
These type of wiper blades need to bend to curvature of the windscreen, but they need to be rigid across their length ie. so they don't bend whilst wiping. All the cheap ones I've seen are very flexible across their length due to their design, construction and the material they are made from. The Bosch wiper blades are good quality and work very well, they are also profiled so they don't lift at speed - something that can also be a problem with cheaper blades. Most aftermarket wiper blades include a selection of different brackets so that they can fit different wiper arm types. On the Supra you can fit longer wiper blades than standard, so they'll wipe more of the window. My memory is failing me, but I *think* I used 18" left front and 22" right front and 22" on the rear. I'd suggest going to somewhere like Halfords and checking the quality of the different ones available. Pics of the ones i use to use. http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1352/neo1624jpg.jpg http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/7315/picture1xye.jpg http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/959/cimg00088up.jpg http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/3522/cimg00045nb.jpg Edited November 25, 2010 by Nic (see edit history)
jackso11
I paid £7 for mine of ebay for all 3 last year, look the same as the ones in the link and work perfectly.
monsween
You can get the halfords ones for like 6-7quid if you know anyone with a trade card, better than spending 20quid they want

Guigsy
I have had a couple of pairs and they were great. I needed some new ones and while I was in the USA the other week saw some advertised with rainex infused into the rubber or something like that so braught some back. Fitted them yesterday but haven't had much chance to test them. They came with loads of adapters but thes fit without needing any on them
