RedM
Anyone else had this? What a f**cker. Got back to my parents on Sunday evening after a day out in Old London Town and they presented me with a two week old Win7 pc that had something called Thinkpoint on it. Apparently it looked identical to a standard MS security essentials alert so they chose the scan option. Big mistake. It dumped something onto their PC which blocked them from using Explorer. Basically they couldn't do a thing except look at this trojan PoS. Every option bar one left them locked down. The one remaining option was to pay for a full scan. Even booting onto safe mode brought up the 'scan screen' and windows remained unusable. Sorted it out in quick time though but, Jebus, what a hassle. Anyhow, keep your eyes open Windows users.
