AEM EMS prohibited from selling on Supraforums?

Strange thread this, i cant figure it out, AEM trying to stop people from selling a used ECU and supraforum backing them up.

"Your AEM for sale post is in violation of our policy. Also this item specifically cannot be sold at the request of AEM. They have notified us that sales of the AEM V2 ecu can only be handled by an approved dealer. "

 

I hear about a lot of these ecu's failing stateside and killing engines, something to do with the injector drivers iirc, dont hear much about it in the uk.

So the dealers have a buy back or recycle scheme do they? If not do they seriously expect you to just bin your old unit rather than sell it on?!

It's all BS, once you buy it, it is yours to sell to whatever price and person you like.
