ozz
You didn't mention budget? I've only done one, but it was amazing - the palmersports day. You are actually racing (under guidance) and there is an awards ceremony etc. Amazing experience but not cheap...a supplier took me luckily. I think prices started around £600. I drove (all race prepped, cages, lightened etc) Jag XKR, Porsche 911, caterham, Landrover (offroading), Clio, Jaguar JP1, and a F3 car (single seater). Exhausting, but amazing. Josh
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?227518-My-day-of-driving-supercars That's about my experience at "Everyman Racing". You were told when to change up and brake and stuff which for me, as I'd not driven anything so powerful before wasn't too bad. I'm thinking about having a go at a single-seater experience next year so no one can tell me off

RobSheffield
Iv booked myself a single seater experience, more on that when iv been!
Scott
Single seater would be the one I would choose. Learn from your own mistakes and make your own driving style. You can't concentrate on the track properly when someone is bleating in your ear. Also, chanting of "Ride of the Valkyries" would be harder. stevie_b
Iv booked myself a single seater experience, more on that when iv been! Good call Rob. I think there's an unwritten rule in the world of driving experience days: the more exotic the car, the less likely you will be able to really open it up. It's probably due to the price of the cars. I bought my wife a track half-day in a single seater (can't remember the formula, might have been Formula Ford, something like that). AFAIK it didn't have a limiter fitted. Abz
I've had 2 driving experiences (both were presents too), even though I told them not too. Both were very strict on pulling on WOT, and the corners were taken pretty slow but paced. Only on the last occasion did they did ask me what I drive and my experiences, I explained that I have access to Supercars due to a couple of friends who own hiring companies. I have driven them pretty hard, and quite comfortable with them & that I currently own a Supra. I think the guy didn't believe or I guess he just wanted to be safe (Don't blame them to be honest). I also told them I got these as a gift and I didn't want to be here as I found it a bit boring without getting a chance to open these cars up. On which he allowed me to push the F430 on the straights a bit more, but not as much as I would have liked. As sugguest single seater experience all the way! RobSheffield
To be fair, on the strength of this whole idea, i applied for an MSA race license
Josh
To be fair, on the strength of this whole idea, i applied for an MSA race license So in an hour and a half you've gone from asking which experience would be best, to choosing a single seater experience to applying for a race licence? You certainly don't hang about Nice one!

Wez
The Aeriel Atom experience was great, you go out by yourself for a few sessions and then at the end a pro takes you round

I'll have to look into this properly
