Iky
As above, You send me a pair of headlights which i use whilst mine are being refurbed, after mine are done and fitted, i refurb yours and send them back. I plan on spraying the inside bodycolour (6NO gunmetal grey) and chrome paint on the rings. If you have a spare pair of ropey looking lights, what have you got to lose? (besides postage) Iky. Morpheus
Ok, I have exactly the same lights and bought some new UK's a while back so can swap at weekend if I can get the bulbs in time and let you do mine how you said. My car is Greenish Grey Mica Metallic (1B9) but may sell the facelift lights anyway once UK's are fitted and happy with them. Make an offer? I also have a new pair of facelift rears which I can fit to mine and sell the originals, in very good condition. No visible scratches and certainly nothing that a buff wouldn't remove as I'm sure they won't be as new after 12 years. Still, they look practically new. Original driver's headlight has good chrome rings but nearside has yellow showing around parts of two largest rings, so a refurb' is definitely in order. I don't really want to spend money on a spare set as i don't need replacements, I was just really interested in a loan where i could "return the favour" to someone for letting me borrow theirs. My lights are still fully functional but i'm just trying to get them "tarted up" and looking nice. Thanks though, I'll keep you in mind Morpheus if i decide to buy another set. RobD
I've got some facelift headlights that I'd like refurbing, the chromed peeling off the ring that's really pissing me off, ideally I want them in oem colours though

If anything changes I'll let you know. Im not sure what code the oem colour is but it seems very similar to my cars body colour.
Morpheus
Don't mind me, if you guys want to do a swap. Admittedly, my offer was to not have to refurb my lights and just open them but I do need to fit my new U.K.'s first and it's hardly a priority right now as all fluids need changing badly and I only have Sundays off. Go ahead Iky if you want. If you do a good enough job, Rob would be in a far better position than I, to recommend your services to others By the way, I found this (on here?) somewhere recently; you can check your spec's from the VIN, http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q? Should tell you the paintcode of your car body anyway, as per VIN plate under bonnet.

Thanks Morpheus, Im not really looking to offer a service as such as i simply don't have the spare time, I was gonna get a body shop to do the painting for both pairs. I just needed a spare set to use on mine untill i get them sorted. Saying that, my cars not gonna be going anywhere for a while with a fooked water pump.
