RobSheffield
How far are you wanting to go with the build? I have not had a rebuild carried out, but from what i have heard, i would recommend AFR, Whifbitz or LeeP (AKA SRD). Send each a PM with your requirements and see what they suggest/quote
johnny g
Any established trader on here should be able to help, if it's in their product range. I'd speak to each one with your requirements and see who offers the best package for your needs - then you can make an informed decision.

It's a job you only want to do once, so make sure you do it properly.

Matt H
Thread title. So what happens if someone recommends using X for an engine build, but you've had similar work done by X and wasn't happy with them. By your methodolgy, everyone could be recommended. Every trader has dis-satisfied customers, but you look for the positives and the negatives and take your decision from that.
Nic
My first choice would be Chris Wilson.

Every trader has dis-satisfied customers, but you look for the positives and the negatives and take your decision from that. That's the problem, people with bad experiances tend to shy away from mentioning such on the forums. It's usually only discussed over PM's, or when, in the past, traders have gone, stories start getting told. It's a shame, but that's the way it is. In addition, there always seems to be a lot of recommendations from members with no real first hand experiance of their own.
Gaz6002
I'd go to Lee P. He worked wonders on my car.

I agree - and this thread is potentially a huge can of worms so it needs watching.
