Tee from China
pretty lame mind numbing question - even for me but I'm intrigued to know why LHD cars get an extra window switch than on RHD models - see attached(black is JDM/UK and the beige is a US spec!) Nic
So it would conform to a certain US legal requirement would be my guess.
Scott
What extra switch? Ahh on the passenger side?
Suprash
That extra switch just looks like the lock window switch though ?
Graham S
Looks like the door locking switch. Either way I like the colour of the door cards!
Tyson
Looks like the door locking switch. Either way I like the colour of the door cards! I agree as there is a lot of car jacking in the states so it would make sense.
Scott
Do you guys not have those switches on your cars? Maybe it's a post 96 only thing or something like that as my car has them. I don't have the extra button on the passenger side though.

jackso11
we all have all except the 1 extra on the drivers, must have been a US law
Scott
we all have all except the 1 extra on the drivers, must have been a US law Now you're contradicting what was just said. Did you mean to write passengers?
Matt H
Like others have said, it looks identical to the driver's door lock switch. I'd presume it was a control for locking the passenger's door. Why don't you raise a thread on supraforums as get a US member to confirm.
