Jurgen-Jm-Imports Posted November 21, 2010 Share Posted November 21, 2010 I thought perhaps some came from non automotive backgrounds, like Jurgen I'm sure use to be a Surveyor of sorts this is what i did.. 17-19 worked as an apprentice electrician and on saturdays i would fool around in my nova -tuning it by sticking on 4 inch tailpipes and stickers lol.. 19-23 i worked as a cnc miller and got my nvqs in it building pratt and whitney and rolls royce engines...- i also just started my interest in jap cars around 21..again fooling around on sats with jap cars now.. 23-26 i was an asbestos surveyor with the same company above - i did jm-imports and worked 2 jobs full time for the first 4 years of jm-imports.. am now 31 and the last 4 years i have been full time and only with jm-imports..(still feels like 2 jobs and i have learned even more stuff - wish i knew all i do now when i was 18).. i guess time is were you get experience and hands on work.. but you learn everyday still and am sure thats for every trade ..
