michael
Justy a bit of a worry that I need guidance with please.... I want to buy a set of alloys and some suspension for the Punto but wish to seek out bargains and compare mail order prices before checking local establishments. Is it considered acceptable to buy Max Power, Fast Car or Revs in order to browse the mass of adverts in them? Failing this does anyone know of a reliable online source for these things? michael
Damn you, damn all of you I have to drive the thing now and again and it rolls like a cross channel ferry on a bad sea, I need to stiffen the suspension and get more grip plus it needs 4 new tyres and it seems daft to invest in 14" rubber when I can probably get wheels and tyres for a little bit more. I just thought 'those magazines' might have a lot of ads in them but as it seems unacceptable (and rightly so) I'll continue my google quest
RedM
Why not just go to Borders (Burstall or Leeds) and read the mags for free. My 'browsing' with notepad saved me a fortune in PC mags when looking for a new computer. In Borders you can even read the mags in a comfy chair while drinking overpriced, luke-warm, frothy coffee. If you get embarressed about buying those mags just get a couple of pornos at the same time.
Supragal
You're not actually buying them from max power, just adverts in there. Why not I say.
michael
Why not just go to Borders (Burstall or Leeds) and read the mags for free. I thought they were all sealed up though these days to stop people doing just that? Perhaps I'll just get autotrader or something
RedM
The mags are definitely unsealed after a few days on sale. Get there mid-afternoon before the staff tidy up and you can read pretty much anything for free. Helps me kill a couple of hours when I get bored exploring Morley.
