Yeah I really like the GTR version of the R33, I think the GTS version are becoming a really really good buy and they don't come with the 'GTR' tax!

Oh wow Rob. I'm not jealous :(

How anyone can say that the R34 is ugly is beyond me. It has those traditional car lines but chiselled to perfection as an alpha male car lol. I'm gonna get raped for this but the R34 looks a lot better than the Supra imo.

You lucky lucky sod Rob.

Twoddle :)

R33s and R34s can look nice, but usually benefit from aftermarket kit (body, wheels etc) Supras look fantstic as standard, and are usually uglier for modification.

Wow, that's lovely  Is it still in factory paint? How much is something like that worth these days?

Thanks Dude, yeah its a good looking motor IMO and it certainly does attract some attention I think mainly because they are quite rare! But tbh the old Supra did as well :) Its a very different type of car which I never really realised until I really got into driving it, the grip and traction is amazing!

I don't think they're common at all, whether they're R33 GTS-T's or GTR's, but of course, I'm biased :)

IMO, all 90's Japanese cars can be common, there are many in the country now and some of them are beaten up and driven by people giving them a bad look and bad reputation.

There are some amazing Subarus and some very ugly Supra's so it doesn't mean anything, common or not. The totally stock Supra with stock wheels etc looks to me like a frog on a skateboard...

I always loved the look of nicely modified R33's and Supra's alike. I part exchanged my Supra NA for a GTS-T and never looked back. It was almost stock looking when I got it and did most of the work myself.

It was dynoed last month 437bhp, it's much lighter that the Supra, has a better steering feel and is faster than most if not all BPU's.

I was the same.

Went from a N/a Supra to a R33 gts-t and the two couldnt be further apart!

Supra was great and alot more refined, better at cruising on motorways etc and the skyline was just an animal! Absolutley bonkers to drive but so much fun! Build quality wasnt as good as the supra though.

In my opinion you cant really compare the two and I cant decide if I get a supra or a skyline when I can afford to get a hobby car. Both are as common as muck over here.

I currently have the best of both worlds with the ute, comfort of the supra and nuttyness of the skyline when I want to poke the rear out a little.
