hp006
I added the following spoiler from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-Supra-Evo-Spoiler-/300315046488?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45ec2bf258 would strongly recommend that nobody buys this. It was fitted to my car 2 years ago and the sides have spilt and the paint bubbled. I dont blame the bubbling on the paint sprayer as he is very good. My question is i think he has glued it in place as i have removed the bolts and still cant lift the spoiler off. Is there a way i can melt or undo this as im replacing with an oem spoiler without damaging the paint on the car?
richarde7927
If he has bonded it on you have a right game on your hands , I would mask up around the spoiler maybe even some thin cardboard to stop you damaging the paint and get a snap off thin knife and try and get under the spoiler and cut the sealer , You could also use cheese wire/windscreen removing wire , but you stand a good chance either way of damaging the paint on the tailgate . gjp
Try using fishing line like a saw to cut through adhesive
