Rob_Mitchell
well car got dropped off this morning but i was out so missed you, actually i was hiding the car must have come with no spoiler and the place you bought it put one on, and what a rough job they did really hacked about underneath boot lid, not even in the right place, you can see how far by my pencil hole in the last pic so we had to mark and measure new holes for the new TRD spoiler and drill them out, jobs a good one and the colour is good too. next up- painting the sparkplug covers and brake calipers lovely yellow Edited November 17, 2010 by Rob_Mitchell (see edit history)

Rob_Mitchell
i still cant get over how someone can butcher the tailgate like that to fit a stock spoiler, makes my work look awful plus there is not much that can be done to tidy it up
Geo
thats a terrible job from the PREVIOUS fitment, looks like someone has taken a Axe to the poor tailgate. ::

d-_-b
Is shocking to see how cars are sometimes treated by garages and such like the last place to fit a spoiler to that car : TRD spoiler does look nice, like you say car pulls it off nicely : )
scotty71
what a butchers effort, looks like its been hacked with a cleaver. great car TJP's but I will always be thinking of the butcherd metal in the boot when I see it now
Dnk
Surely you could make the botched underside look a lot better for little effort, i couldn't leave it like that if it were my car
Rob_Mitchell
b;2960303']Is shocking to see how cars are sometimes treated by garages and such like the last place to fit a spoiler to that car : TRD spoiler does look nice, like you say car pulls it off nicely : ) the only thing i can think is there was no spoiler when it was imported, so they have found a stock spoiler and fitted it but obviously drilled the holes in the wrong place, causing them to not be able to get the bolts in... so they mauled it when we trial fitted the trd it overhanged the boot so we had to drill new hole ect. the car is lovely needless to say and its a nice stock colour too
