Some people did complain, it'll have only been a handful, I use to have access to all the comments and complaints that came in to ELC and saw some of the ridiculous things people thought offensive - Mothers in general. I know for a fact that in the Israeli and Arabic shops pigs in sets like Happy Land and Blossom Farm definitely put off customers which was why there they were removed.

This whole UK thing will have been some idiot Buyer (spit) decision or mistake which the media have got hold of and made a scandal out of.

I could understand their sales dropping in the Middle East, it would be like selling Toy Mosques in Wales. :D

Though in the UK, surely they would have enough common sense if one or two idiots complained.

The bold part doesn't surprise me, Daily Mail love the "Muslims"! :D

This was one of my all time favourite toy screw ups - I use to have one in the office you could have hours of fun with it! This was made by Disney, 100K's got to market like this, now that did receive a lot of complaints :D

Haha that's incredible!

How could they mess up thumping his chest to cracking one off? Astounding.

Yes you would think so, I use to have to work with these fools, the ELC UK head office was in Swindon, does that answer your question? :)

Common sense, initiative, decision making nope not of that. They were good at meetings I'll give them that, nothing would ever come out of the other end of these meetings though. I worked in a VERY efficient modestly sized office in HK and had to pander to these fools every day, so it doesn't surprise me one bit.

Maybe does :D

I find a lot of companies get that when they start working on a larger scale, and the meeting about a meeting! :)
