Well my celica wasnt running properly since last week and after taking it to two different garages and chucking lots of £'s at it believeing the engine is mis-firing i gave up.

I ended up changeing the spark plugs, the HT leads, the dizzy cap and a new rota which still wasnt making my car run properly. it wouldnt even stay started, kept cutting out :(

Before i went at it with a box of matches and a gallon of petrol i called up mrgee2jz and explained my issue. he told me to quickly pop over which i did. He popped open the bonnet and found in 10 SECONDS FLAT a small pipe had come loose and hey presto, he cut it, fixed it back on and my car is once again purring like a kitten!

YES i feel like a mug!

mrgee2jz thanks a bunch! Club spirit at its best!

.................right were are there no speed camera's................? :D

vacuum hoses, they are a bugger. when i worked in a garage a guy brought a vauxhall zafira in and the engine was turning over but it was inconsistent. constantly throwing the revcounter through from 2-6k RPM, i spent ages looking at it letting it do its wierd idle.. i was about to give up.. i left my torch on the plastic part behind the engine bay that keeps the water out... went to pick it up and dropped in behind the engine... then i saw it... bloody things! it sounded like it was something seriously wrong... but it really wasnt at all lol
