I suspect that anyone capable of intelligent thought wouldn't want the job. Sure, the palaces are nice, but she'll spend the rest of her life doing what other people want her to do. It must be very difficult to do that if you haven't been taught your "duty" from the cradle.

You say that, but it's not a shabby life hey..! never have to pay a bill, meet a lot of interesting people, travel in total luxury..! etc etc...! if somebody offered that life style to me i would probably accept it..! lol

Imagine how many womans are going to push there partners to get married and plan their own stupidly expensive wedding. during the next 1yr.

I was going to say exactly the same thing, by the time we get to the wedding the majority of the populous will be hanging on every media word, buying souvenirs and getting all excited about the big day, street parties? I remember the Charles and Diana hype, made me sick. We wanted nothing to do with the hysteria. We had other plans for the national event. On the wedding day we got some friends together and went to a deserted bit of coast and had a great day in the sea, on the beach and in the dunes, it was a most memorable day, no radio no TV NO WEDDING.

I went fishing with my dad on the day, and it was a glorious July morning, and caught numerous carp. Did I miss something? ;)

I think it'll be good for our economy (not that we'll see any benefit), but I for one, won't be rushing out to buy any commemorative plates. I might get a mug though, as you'd have to be one to buy into all this dross.

I do like William though. :)

I quite liked this take on the upcoming event :D

Interesting point. :)

I know it's tongue-in-cheek, but it does assume that the only way to enjoy a wedding is to physically be there, scoff some prawn vol-au-vents and those miniature fish 'n' chips canape things, dance badly to Raining Men at the disco afterwards and try to pull a bridesmaid. I'll enjoy the wedding even though I won't be there.

I'm not sure why many people are hostile to the wedding. Maybe it's an anti-royals thing.

Can i just say i'm in love with Kate Middleton - She'll super hot

Ed, I dare you to show up to Westminster Abbey (or wherever they're getting married) and when the archbishop says, "Does anyone know of any reason why these people shouldn't get married?", pipe up with a declaration of love! I dare ya!

I am not hostile to the wedding, nor royals in general and I see the benefits financially for the country as it will undoubtedly bring in huge tourist cash, the yanks love royal weddings. I hope the two of them will be very happy together, they seem very much in love, and as Royal relationships go, this one could genuinely be based on love. I think both Diana's kids have more public sympathy than many Royals. William has a healthy disdain for the media, so hopefully Kate will be able to manipulate the media to support what ever causes she with which she inevitably becomes involved.

As for the Wedding day, I will plan to do something else, perhaps a Supra meet and keep away from the inevitable coverage.

I think that was already a given Ed :D

:D

Oh, and btw: Don't think by putting on a comedy moustache and glasses will put me off you.

Because if anything,... I'm even more aroused x

Have you seen that picture of her when she was modeling in a uni fashion show at 19? I defo would do the potential future Queen of England. Wonder if Wills would let us go twos up, Ed?

Im counting on a threes up.

Me, Big Willy, Katie and Camilla as the dominatrix.

Oh come on, you've all thought the same.
