Chris Wilson
Being British doesn't define me. Being a nice person does. I won't take your stinking test. Keep it. Just HOW bad was your score, dear?
nevins
I do find it funny that being british is decided on whether or not you know if you have to pay for your children's school uniform lol.

stevie_b
50%: I failed... or did I? I call Q6 void: the correct answer isn't one of the options. I also think Q16 is wrong, having looked it up on the ONS website. Q19 I also dispute quite strongly. Several of them are frankly trick questions, interesting for pub quiz knowledge but not much else. You may as well ask how many bricks there are in the Tower of London, and give possible answers whose range covers about a dozen bricks. There are also a few genuinely interesting questions there. stevie_b
I do find it funny that being british is decided on whether or not you know if you have to pay for your children's school uniform lol. I thought that was one of the better questions. At least people aspiring to settle in the UK will find it genuinely useful. But does it make someone British? I doubt it. adnanshah247
i got 19/24!!! i be honest though i knew a lot of those answers because i used to have a governmental job and i had to know those things! that test would be bloody hard for others. i mean one question was the speed limit on a single carriageway, i mean wtf has that got to do with citizenship!? that person might not even ever drive!?! many questions were also politically based! Animal
I got 6 right. The EDL are marching through Preston at the end of the month, I'd better keep a low profile in case they find out.
Rob_Mitchell
at the end of the day if you can snort vodka, drink endless ammounts of sambuca (gas chambers), just live life and party... then i think you qualify... and deserve to be here. i got like 3 questions right! who care's lol
Charlotte
Just HOW bad was your score, dear? You know me so well. I got 8 right. I think it's ridiculous though. Which parts of that test can they put into practice once they have passed. It should be things like, what side of the road do you have to drive on and explain the complex system of queuing. RedM
Men: Got a beer belly? You're British. Women: Got a tat of your name in some exotic language? You're British. Well done. Now move the f**k on.
michael
100% in 3 minutes and 24 seconds, possibly due to me just finishing my copy of "Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship" in the last week. Personally I think that anyone who adds "lol" to a subject on here instead of a question mark should be sent to live somewhere else.

Matt H
Some of those questions seem irrelevant to me. Why do I have to know how many million people are aged 18 or under? Surely it would be better to know where to sign on, what housing I'm entitled to, which is the best football team in the prem and perhaps a guide to stores that sell brands from my home country? Here's my result, I'm suprised I got that score tbh! You have failed the practice citizenship test. Matt H
Does anyone know what score / percentage you need to achieve to pass it?
redtwinturbo
46%. Although I'm pretty sure the 'correct' answer to at least one of the questions was wrong.

Questions answered correctly: 18 out of 24 (75%) Time taken: 02 minutes 50 seconds Please select 'Test summary' for a full summary of your test and for advice on how to use the Official Handbook and Study Guide to prepare for the actual test. Please note: At the end of the actual test, your answers will not be displayed on screen. At the end of the test session the test supervisor will tell you whether you have passed or not.
