ronttuk
does this de cat look right for a uk spec the 3 bolt flange ?? i thought tt were 2 bolt flange but it does have the boss for an O2 sensor http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220696887647&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123#ht_500wt_949
BOB B
That looks very much like a double de-cat pipe, and the three bolt flange is where it goes on to the EGCV actuator section, if it were a second de-cat pipe it would be straight, but that one comes up at the end and it looks about the right length for a double de-cat. ronttuk
so you think it will fit ?? is the j spec fitting the same as uk spec also is it safe to just bolt on or will it need a remap ??
hp006
My uk has 3 bolts at the top section, from what i remember the jap spec has 2? You can bolt straight on but will need a fuel cut defence and boost controller for more power. With uk you do not need to fit a restrictor ring. You may also find a new higher flowing fuel pump will be helpful.
heckler
Both have 3 bolts on the top, just a different pattern, so uk will not fit jspec etc..

bignum
The standard uk fuel pump is good for 550 bhp fly that is.
Graham S
That looks about right, but wouldn't say you'd need a fuel pump, as bignum has said.. Mine bolted straight on and it was off down the road listening to the LOUD rumble! Best noise ever! Would recommend a boost controller and up it a tad as mine didn't change after decatting. It'll make one hell of a difference when fitted, my decats got me to 404bhp!
