Baz018
Hi, when i start the supra from cold it keeps stalling inless i put a few revs on for about 30sec then after that it will tick over fine. It will also be fine the rest of the day its just when it not been used for a few days. Any ideas why it wont start properly??
ADD
have you noticed any blue smoke on start up? if so stem seals may be leaking, therefor not allowing car to start very well or hesitate when starting.

Dnk
Stem seals are on the valve stems, when their shot they let oil run into the combustion chamber and you get smoke on start up. Mine were totally scrap and didnt affect how the car started though.
Nic
Has it only just started doing it, anything you can think of that you've done that may have caused the problem ie. any changes made to the car, fill up with different fuel to normal etc? few suggestions Idle control valve sticking. Bad earth Battery terminals clean/tight. When was the oxygen sensor last changed? Try resetting the ECU (disconnect the battery for a few minutes) it'll run rough to start with and will take a few miles run right again, see if it makes a difference. When were the plugs last changed? Check for any pipes in engine bay that may have popped off.
