TopgunTT
There are so many time wasters and dreamers out there who like to just live the dream that they can own a Supra. No word of a lie, I have had at least 10 people say they will either come to view the Supra, Or made me an offer, And then you never hear from them again?? Why oh why do they do it

Abz
I know what you mean I'd only contact someone if I was interested! But some of these idiots! Couple of years ago I had a 2003 Vectra which I got from a friend for cheap as a run around, I used it & then no longer required so thought I'd sell it quickly, put a low price on it (£1,600) and thought as it is a new shape it would be snapped up quickly. Well it did, but not until I had about 10 people phone me in 2 days saying they would come down. One dude phoned me and was moaning saying you price it too high, and he would offer me £800 for it - The first dude who turned up, took one look at it & brought it on the spot. monsween
WTF you don't need a visa to go from Germany to the uk You do if you only have a chengen (spelling) visa
Konrad
You do if you only have a chengen (spelling) visa It's not true. Schegen zone means only that there is no border control between members countries, just simple info sign about what country you are entering. You do not need any visa or even a passport if you have National Identity Card to travel between all EU member countries and few others. monsween
UK is different from the rest of Europe i thought. IE you can move between EU countries with the Schegen but you have to have a uk visa to get in here
fizzle
when i sold my hilux, the guy that won it on ebay drove 3 hours to haggle, when i explained hit didn't work like that and you bid to buy not haggle, he got arsey, so i told him politely to do one... relisted it and had a guy from bulgaria bid so i was very wary, but drove over here with a flatbed and picked it up a week later, full price paid, happy as larry! Turned out he had a supra and is a member on here. lol stick with it.. Will go to someone who deserves it in the end!!
Scooter
bottom line as you are finding out is that there is just far more rough than smooth when selling a car...........you have to put up with all the (sometimes silly) questions and offers etc as one of them will turn into the buyer of the car. With the no shows this is a pain, all you can do is tell them to phone the day or a few hours before they are leaving or alternatively you can sometimes filter out the non keenies by being busy and only available at such and such a time (ie a time when you will be home doing x, y or z anyway). If they are keen they will fit in around you to a certain degree just be careful you don't scare them off by being too unavailable! This should at least stop your life having to fit around the time wasters, best of luck

Nic
It's a buyers market though I guess at the moment and as the prices come down you're bound to get a lot of dreamers and young inexperienced drivers who haven't a clue. If I was looking for a Supra I would spend a lot of time looking for the right car for me (if I was new to the Supra I'd have done a lot of research first). This would mean trawling through ads to find some suitable examples, then arranging to view those examples. I could tell quite quickly if the car was A. as advertised and B. if it was what I was looking for. If it wasn't what I was wanting then I'd say so and walk away, minimising any wasted time for the seller. If I was interested I would spend a lot of time thoroughly going over the car making sure all was in good working order and I would want a test drive. If i was happy with the car I would negotiate an offer, which the seller would either accept or decline. If a deal was done I'd make sure to have the cash readily available to pay for the car. Dnk
Now on my 5th caller on the Volvo, this one seems quite genuine and we've agreed tuesday lunchtime to view it and testdrive the car etc.
