Guest speedstar
i was just wondering whats the deal with having 3 stage turbo kits? i know that a stage 3 kit gives more power etc then a stage 1 but is it necessary to fit a stage 1, den a stage 2 and den a stage 3 or can you skip a stage (or 2 ) like what would happen if you put a stage 3 kit in a stock engine? also, is it better to have the twin turbo intake with upgraded turbos or replace the whole lot with one huge turbo? cheers tom
Supragal
TBH Stages don't really exist. There is no hard and fast set of rules so "stage 2" turbos from one manufacturer won't necessarily be the same (i.e. give same power etc) as "stage 2" from another. Depends what you want the car for and how much you have to spend. The more you mess about with the engines the more unreliable they will come.
