Jurgen-Jm-Imports
i know we have some good graph interpreters here on the forum what do you think of the red line, this is a modded Greddy turbo vs BROWN LINE the old un modded greddy turbo.. of course my car will be strokered and have head work.. does this red line look driveable ? also i will rev to 8000rpm look forward to your input
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
the only difference from red to black is a) Full head work with JUN 264 cams b) SPE Hybrid turbo chargers but with my car it will be also stroker
Scott
The red line looks a comparison to the brown line, not black. I would say red and brown are HP comparison, whereas black and blue are torque comparison.
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
yes brown vs red
Scott
The difference is HUGE. You are gaining spool and WADS of power. Looks like the revs have been increased also though, between the 2 setups. The cams still have the power climing so 8krpm will be even higher. Looking at it though, it makes it look as if it's the cams and higher rev range giving the extra oomph up top with the turbo modification making sure you don't lose anything down the rev range. The drivability looks the same between both setups, no nasty spikes or anything at mid range RPM. Will be a very impressive setup. The stroker will probably make it a bit pokier down low though, so a little driveability will probably be lost between the above setups and yours. Scott
so am i right in thinking if i modify my greddy turbos with my stoker being in place my low down pick up and spool will be better than above graph ? Yup. If you can keep traction
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
Yup. If you can keep traction am hoping an os giken rear diff will do the job
Nodalmighty
That is a nice curve. I would start to increasing the boost from 4700 so the power climb stays more linear and the torque drop flattens out. That would be relentless on the road and very driveable.
