hi all, had the coolant sytem flushed through & new antifreeze put in, the top rad hose clip failed so wenrt back to garage, water had gone everywhere as you could imagine, new jubilee clips & coolant sorted. then no heating, flushed the matrix through, dark brown eventualy put everything back together, top up the levels, heater working. car does not over heat, rad full, expansion tank a little bit low of max mark. but i noticed a very small bit of oil water on engine dipstick!!! took off oil cap, again very small contamination very small, car does not overheat no white smoke, on start up yes, car drives well, could it just be when it blew the rad hose off, some how water got in engine:innocent::innocent::innocent: i cant see any loss of water under load??? since ownership im getting more & more paranoid every time i start her.. what next scenario!! i also noticed when cold selecting reverse it clunks in, good clean trensmission oil,,,, any help guys, :(

If you've only been using the car for short journeys, don't be totally alarmed if you see a "mayo" forming on the inside of your oil cap, I thought it was my HG when I saw that, but it's something that just happens if the car hasn't really had it's legs stretched in a while. :)

just done every bush underneath with a MVP race poly kit. nothing left to do, as i said all droplinks done, subframes good diff mounts good. had the arms (lower) shot blasted & powdercoated. got to be the shocks, just having all the calipers blasted & powder coated, if anyone is interested in a j-spec set up, i can do this for you. i never thought these machines were so expensive.

It was the case Damon, i'm getting pretty damn irritated with you making out like you've had the worst supra ever. I did tell you that the full bush kit and fitting would end up costing you a small fortune. If you'd followed my advice and fixed just what was needed you would've spent a few hundred maximum.

There is nothing wrong with the engine, like it has already been said, small runs will give you a bit of gunk build up on the oil cap.
