davej705
Whats been done to it Chris ? :-) I'd guess it was built as it hits 9000rpm
ShamelessTT
Impressive, i love the way it starts a 6000rpm now thats a proper racing engine!
marcAB10
not a teaser at all.. it's in off topic so is it not a 2JZ then?
Chris Wilson
No, sorry guys, not a 2JZ, that would be impressive..... My Mugen Honda engine, Engine Developments finally sent me the dyno sheet in electronic format.
Swampy442
The curve is still climbing at 9k lol. Whats the dip at 8k all about Chris?
James
I wish I did post when I looked at this thread earlier as I was going to ask if it was an NSX engine given that it's starting from 6k and going as far as 9k with the torque staying put like that! Josh
Good figures!
Chris Wilson
The dip is a facet of the pipes used on the engine dyno, the primaries off the car fouled on the dyno itself so they had to use some other ones. Or that's what they tell me....
JustGav
Was guessing Honda, and vtec just by the bump around 7000 (am I close? )
Chris Wilson
It's a 1991 engine, definitely no variable cam timing

Digsy
I'd guess it was built as it hits 9000rpm Can someone explain that term to me? I see it on here all the time to refer to all sorts of engines. It kind of implies to me that if someone puts together an engine really carefully it will somehow be magically capable of putting out a brazzilion horsepower. Its a bit like "uprated" - another word I'd like to see banished from the forum

David P
Maybe 'OE' is an abbreviation for; Original Egg. Not built, but laid.
