James
Was changing over my front crossmember and had the FMIC, radiator, air con rad, airbox, lights etc. all out of the way and found this clip/sensor. Now, I already removed the higher up of the two horns to be able to fit a rad cooling plate. The wire from it goes to a little loom section that splits to the other horn which you can see below. Now, being really thick most likely, that is just for the other horn right? Got a bit confused as I couldn't remember! All it says on it is Denso 077500-4031. The only other things I thought of was something to do with the air con or an air temp sensor maybe? I don't know! Just checking! Thanks! James
Duh that's right, it's for the air con. What a thicket!
Hamilton
Resurrecting an old thread- does anyone happen to know where this air temperature sensor should clip into, or better yet have a photo? I currently have the front bumper off and noticed it’s just hanging there, but presumably it should secure to something…
mwilkinson
I think it clips into the front aluminium bumper bar. https://www.mkivsupra.net/topic/161006-fitting-clock-with-outside-temp/?do=findComment&comment=2260580 Edited March 11 by mwilkinson (see edit history)

I hadn’t realised it clipped to the bumper- I have an aftermarket bumper which is presumably why the sensor was left hanging. I’ll try to find a home for it!
