ozz Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 Look at it another way, if you don't get a percentage of people taking up low emmission cars then one course of action would be to make petrol even more cost prohibitive. The most likely way (petrol aside) is to increase tax further again and force take up. I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 1k+ pa tax in 5 years. So embrace diesels, eco-cars for the people that want them, perhaps it will keep our gas guzzlers more affordable for a while. Ateotd, its not sustainable in current consumption levels.
