markylee
The boot has a totally different lock to the doors , but i managed to get the passenger door open, i suppose they are so difficult to open because the key doesnt get used that often . ilicos
Glad you've managed to get it open. Don't use WD40 on the locks, I recommend 3in1 oil
markylee
Glad you've managed to get it open. Don't use WD40 on the locks, I recommend 3in1 oil Thanks for the tip, but why 3 in1 instead of wd40?
Havard
Why not WD40? Does it freeze?
wile e coyote
wd40 is a degreser and remove any oil i use duck oil
ilicos
Exactly, WD40 is actually quite dry and not an oil but a water disperser (hence WD). 3in1 oil is specifically designed for locks and hinges.
