needy
hey I have a problem, I find it hard to find a solution when I turn the lights, so is the parking light or ordinary light dosent matter, then I get the ignition on the car, inside the car is a fusebox, and If i remove the relay Taillight relay or fuse panel, so everything seems normal, however I have no lights in my gauge. some who have tried something similar

stevie_b
The question is still unclear. Let me say what I think you mean, and you can correct me where necessary... When you turn on the headlights (or is it sidelights, or is it either?) on the steering-column stalk in the usual way, the car engine starts even if there are no keys in the ignition. jagman
Do you have an alarm that disables the ignition and flashes the sidelights /indicators ?
needy
Do you have an alarm that disables the ignition and flashes the sidelights /indicators ? i have a alarm system yes, i have tried to disconnec the alarm system, but it still the same.. if i remove the fuse to panel in the fusebox inside the car, all is normal. with that i mean, no ignition when i turn on the lights, but i have no light in the gauges. do i put the fuse in again, i have ignition on again when i turn on the light, and there are lights in the gauges. alle that with no keys in the ignition
stevie_b
Which fuse are you removing? If it's one that controls the dashboard lights, you're probably just covering up the symptoms of the problem rather than the cause of the problem. heckler
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LADc2XYA5I here is my problem Holycrap, that's not right! Car shouldn't even do that! Does it do that on just the side lights? Or when you put the main lights on? It sounds like bit of a wiring problem, or the previous owner had done something! absz
have you changed any bulbs lately? disconnect each lamp unit starting from the rear lamps and see if the ignition lights go out. it could be a bad foglamp conversion were the feed is taken direct from ignition. Swampy442
Holycrap, that's not right! Lol when a man of your experience says that it must be a bad thing! Looks like a wiring cock up somewhere but I dont know why you would route the ignition power through the lighting circuit. Does anything else work when you turn the lights on, such as wipers etc? JustGav
I'd start with the ignition wires and work your way back, SOMETHING is pulling the wires up that shouldn't be. Get a wiring diagram and start working your way through it. Does your alarm have some strange parking light setup or something of that nature. Alarm is the 2nd port of call.. absz
Another possibilty could be if the illumination wire loom side on the radio unit is attached to the ignition feed wire ?
needy
Another possibilty could be if the illumination wire loom side on the radio unit is attached to the ignition feed wire ? there is no radio in the car... and it has come after the fuse burst in the fuse box inside the car.. and if i remove the fuse to the panel, all is normal, except I do not have light in my watches
