barneybrendan Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 I have just got a second hand dell 1010 netbook that i need to conect to my sky broadband.I havnt got a damn clue what to do though so please help..I need to use it with my emu as its on xp and my vista laptop wont communicate properly. RobUK Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 Just had a look in the manual..... try pressing the Function Key (Fn - by the spacebar) and the F2 key... according to the manual this will cycle through enabling/disabling the wireless features... WiFi, Bluetooth etc depedning on the options available.... as for the touchpad it could be disabled (like the wireless).... one step at a time I would say... Andy-No-Knee Posted November 6, 2010 Share Posted November 6, 2010 On the bottom right of the screen there should be a symbol showing a radio mast, or a bar graph possibly with a line diagonally through it. Right click on that and a box will apper asking if you want to turn the wifi on. Click enable radio. It will then give you a list of wifi signals it can read, you select one and input the relivan password key and bob is your mothers brother.
