Body Building Advice

I've been training and slowly building muscle for a while now, but lately I feel like my progress has slowed right down. I'm feeling tired after work (mentally more than physically I think) but I don't know what to do? I don't think Im over-training as my workouts don't last over an hour, and I try to get as close to 8 hours sleep every night as I can, and also I try to eat a lot to keep my energy levels and recovery up.

So I've just spent the last couple of hours on the Internet reading about different training methods and advice, but I feel overwhelmed by the information I've tried to take on board!

Long-story-short, I believe I need to change my routing as my body has become accustomed to my workouts and sees no reason to grow anymore. So with this in mind I had a look at different routines, and there are SO MANY routines! I don't know what to go for?!

My goal is to build size and strength, but also have tone. From what I've read, I've been doing it wrong as you can't do both at the same time, you have to 'bulk' and then 'cut', which makes sense. As it's cold this time of year, and it's coming up to Christmas, I think I'll head towards the bulking as there will be plenty of food around! Then I can start cutting towards the summer.

But I still don't know what routing to go for? I'm interested in a 'full body' workout which you do twice a week. Does anyone have experience with those? How do they compare to 4-day routines designed around muscle groups? Do 'super sets' reap more benefits than say 4 sets of 10-12 reps of the same weight?

Can anyone recommend a friendly and helpful bodybuilding forum where I can learn more?

102 lean sounds cool.

Cool. I haven't done any BB competitions for the last 15 years. (started as a Junior, but wanted to pack some weight first).

More focused on heavy training now ... I like to push the PB always more (185kg squat, 180kg deadlift and 125kg bench ... all for 10 reps .. so far)

Luc

P.S. Next time I'm in the UK, I will come to the gym with you.
