Guest wantthatone
just replaced all the suspension bushes with the MVP race poly kit, still seems to be a slight knock! im thinking shocks, is this plausible? or someone has mentioned diff ear mount bushes, any help please as this is costing a small fortune, sub frames ok, replaced all drop links, new & bushed arms, could it be the anti roll bars,
fastcar
i would go with the shocks they do tend to knock a bit when worn. where is the knocking coming from front or rear? have u checked the boot lid rubbers?
Guest wantthatone
seems to be drivers side rear, slight front as well, what are the boot lid rubbers?
markybhoy86
I thought the boot lid rubbers tended to squeak a bit more before they started clunking. I've had a clunking noise on my car for ages, I've changed droplinks, top arm bushes, wheel bearing, had the suspension off and stripped, checked the subframe bolts- all these have been fine. It's been like that for over a year and never got worse-if u find a solution make sure u share it lol
