Tom S
You guys noticed how we all went in and played when there was a chance with the scores etc, now that the super high scores are on no one seems to bother very much. So how about we liven it up again, wipe the high scores and maybe get some new games. I am as bad as every one else, but the boredom factor means we need to change something or life will become stale, like driving a Scooby !! So come on guys / girls opinions !! Supra_Nish
Someone beat me pac man score!!!!!!!! I think the problem is with games like tetris where the scores are sooooooo huge it would take an hours gameplay or so to top it. Pac man however requires only a few minutes of skill. RedM
I became obsessed with Penguin Drive but for the life of me couldn't work out how Mcanny got 4000 odd. My best was still 1000 short after hours of play. Then someone beat his score and now I can't be arsed.

mawby
I do mean to keep checking for new games, but everytime I download one my account gets deleted the next day! I'm not sure why as I'm not breaking any of the rules, and it allows me to re-register each time, just a PITA that's all. I'll have a look at the weekend if I get time. As for reseting the highscores, I suggested this a while back and those high scores are going to be very difficult to beat, but you lot said NO! So do you want me to reset them? Poll added to this thread.
Faye Brother
Nope. People should practice more if they are really that concerned about having a high score.
SupraLuigi
Please don't reset the pacman as I'm obsessed with getting that high score!
Jake
A Highscore isn't really a Highscore if it doesn't beat the previous one! If you aren't good enough to beat it then you simply aren't good enough. End of.
nuttynutz
even if you reset it, the people with the high scores, will sooner or later get the high scores again.
michael
even if you reset it, the people with no lives, will sooner or later get the high scores again. I agree

mawby
even if you reset it, the people with the high scores, will sooner or later get the high scores again. But at least it means they have to try. Take space invaders. Those high scores were achieved by playing the games for hours. Would the current people with highscores be bothered to do it again? Maybe, maybe not. Anyway, it's an even split so far so we need some more votes.

They don't rewrite athletic records each season simply because people aren't up to the job of setting new ones. If someone wants the high score then they've got to practice at becoming more competitive or put in the necessary time on that game.

But everytime the arcade machine is switched off, then people have to re play to get top score. What about a All time best score and then a re-set monthly, I'm as guilty as others for setting high scores over long periods of playing a game. But the Newbies aint had a chance and they might so go for it.
how_supra
Yeah I agree. Can we have an all time high scores section, but have the actual scores reset on a monthly basis? I personally can not be bothered to sit there and play tetris for 3 hours again!!! But then again I will be gutted if my 3 hours work got wiped out and not remembered at least.
