A few people have mentioned Water Injection to me recently but i dont really know what the score is with it?

Is it for a certain power and over? Or just a safety measure?

Are there certain pros and cons for doing it.....?

Any info greatly appricated, including costs?? :)

Pretty much all positives ,the one negative usually missed is that it cleans the combustion chamber and pistons , you would think that a good thing , except any carbon cleaned off promptly goes through your turbine , which is spinning at a very high rpm

So your shiny new turbo isnt quite so new .

New built or clean engine ,no worries it will stay that way , much the same is bolting on a big new turbo on an old unopened engine full of carbon ,then add a load of fuel , but none of us would do that, right !!
