Jamesy
A few people have mentioned Water Injection to me recently but i dont really know what the score is with it? Is it for a certain power and over? Or just a safety measure? Are there certain pros and cons for doing it.....? Any info greatly appricated, including costs?? Pretty much all positives ,the one negative usually missed is that it cleans the combustion chamber and pistons , you would think that a good thing , except any carbon cleaned off promptly goes through your turbine , which is spinning at a very high rpm So your shiny new turbo isnt quite so new . New built or clean engine ,no worries it will stay that way , much the same is bolting on a big new turbo on an old unopened engine full of carbon ,then add a load of fuel , but none of us would do that, right !!
