Its done just under 100k, im waiting for the owners pack to arrive so not sure on service history, there is no tax or mot on it.

Open to offers

This was my business partners car.

Useful load-lugger. Any idea why there's no MoT? Just expired or did it fail on something?

As far as im aware its just expired

I am just looking into either, putting it through the local auction as it is to get it gone or put 12 months mot on it and mess around advertising it.

It passed last year with no advisories so i'd have thought it shouldnt need much doing if anything this year.

Do you know anything about the service history yet mate?

I've not got my hands on it yet but from what i can gather there are stamps in a Volvo service book that go up to around 08.

Forgive my vagueness but its my deceased partners wife who im getting the info from so i didn't push the subject too much.

I should have it in the next couple of days hopefully, i've driven the car on trade plates and it seems to be fine.

I was gonna offer 50 quid but Id feel bad given the circumastances :(

Forget the circumstances but i think its worth quite a bit more than £50

I've just had a look on autotrader and the cheapest V70 estate is a P reg at £750 and thats got 150,000 miles on it so i think for a quick sale this is worth £500 all day long. I think i'll put it through the mot and take it from there.

So would you take 500 quid for it then? If so could do with a load lugger for my bass gear!

Here are a few more pics, the interior is very dirty and there is some paint on the drivers seat which could be water based so hopefully it will wet vac out, the vinyl on the center console lid is worn and the drivers side panel under the steering column needs re attaching which i'll fix.

Everything appears to work, central locking, all 4 electric windows, the tyres all have good tread on them, i still havent got the service book but apparently it was serviced a couple of months ago.

The car failed the MOT on the front brake hoses and the dip beam wasn't working, its awaiting parts to fix both these faults, it also got advisories on the discs and pads, they will need replacing in the nearish future and rear bushes have play, not major but had to be noted.

Im looking for £1000 when the car has 12 months MOT and has had the interior valeted which will be next week.

Car goes on autotrader next week

Got to be worth £1k all day long :)

Car is on Piston Heads at £1150 ono
