I phone 4 OS 4.1

What phone though Ash?

Did you not say that an Iphone4 with 4.1 should have no issues, and that it's only the Iphone3's that have (with 4.1 installed)?

Well after Marc's other post where he said friend had the same as me iphone 4 with OS 4.1 and had no issues... but Marc did? It blows the consistency.

Yeah I just spotted his previous post. Wasn't sure if he meant he had the same phone but a different OS in his later reply :)

Yep, me and my work mate both have iPhone4 running OS4.1, I had the alarm issue this morning but he didn't.

I wonder if it sets itself by counting down from the previous instance of that alarm? e.g.

Your alarm is set for 6am. It goes off, you stop it. The clock counts down 23 hours 59 minutes to the next one.

The clocks go back, but it has no bearing on the countdown.

Your alarm goes off 24 hours after the previous alarm, but an hour out of real "clock" sync.

Just a thought - if that is the case, then it's a LAME LAME LAME way of doing it.

Just did what was suggested on the above website. Changed the auto update time to off, deleted all alarms, re-added the alarms without the re-occurring option and it works fine.

If you turn the re-occurring on the alarms do not work, so basically you will have to set the alarm each night until Apple sorts out the fix.

Anyone else having trouble with their iphone alarm clock since the clocks went back an hour yesterday?

All my alarms now go off an hour later than they should. I can set a new alarm now and it will go off an hour later than programmed.

:complain:

Edit to add: Phone is a 3GS with 4.1

It's a well known problem (as times have changed starting with NZ) but Apple have yet to issue a fix.

Try setting a non-reoccuring alarm. I think it only affects reoccurring alarms.

Smart-phone my arse.

:rlol:

EDIT: Just saw Steve's post:

Yup.

There's an app for that!

Oh, by the way:
